M. Christopher Roebuck is Founder and CEO of RxEconomics LLC. As an applied health economist, he has considerable expertise in employing advanced econometric methods in observational research studies using insurance claims data. Additionally, Dr. Roebuck has significant experience in developing predictive models, conducting economic evaluations of health care programs, and examining issues of health plan choice. His work has been published in American Economic Review, Southern Economic Journal, Health Affairs, Medical Care, American Journal of Managed Care, and Health Services Research. He and his colleagues received the Best Abstract Award at the 2006 Annual Research Meeting of Academy Health, and the Health Care Research Award of the National Institute for Health Care Management Foundation in 2013. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Miami, and a Ph.D. in Public Policy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
